Until the benefit
Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities follows a family gathering for Christmas in Palm Springs that gets complicated when a daughter announces she's publishing a memoir. It's funny, moving, and a perfect play to bring us all together.
Come early for an open bar, music and the photo booth. It's going to be a great night.
Arrive to an open bar with champagne and our signature cocktail, passed hors d'oeuvres, and music. Tour the new arts center and grab a picture with friends in the photo booth.
Take your seat for Other Desert Cities, read by Calista Flockhart, Dylan McDermott and Terry Walters, directed by Rob Morrow. With about 80 seats, every one is up close.
Stay for dessert and coffee, and raise one more glass to the theatre with the cast and fellow Ruskin friends.
Interested in sponsoring the evening? Call 310-397-3244.
Includes the open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, dessert, music, the photo booth and the benefit reading. Proceeds support Ruskin's programming, and a portion of your ticket is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Tickets & Details
Our community raised more than $1.5 million to open the Ruskin Group Theatre Performing Arts Center. Since then it has filled up with new plays, comedy, music, readings and classes across our two stages.
As the arts center nears its first birthday, we're raising a glass to everyone who built it with us, and raising money to keep the work on both stages going.
Our main stage, home to full productions, the LA Café Plays, and the intimate 80-seat room where you'll hear Other Desert Cities.
Our second stage, alive with comedy nights, live music and more.
